Ziel des Projekts ist es, das Interesse, im Thermal- und Gastrotourismus in Gebieten mit geringer wirtschaftlicher Entwicklung zu arbeiten, zu erhöhen und im Bereich Marketing und Ausbildung mit Hilfe von Schulungen diesen Effekt zu erzielen. Das Team bemüht sich um die Förderung von Beschäftigung in diesem Sektor.

This healing spring rises at about 104 degrees and is a Vulkania® healing spring. Since the healing spring brings natural CO2 to the surface, the entire spa complex can be heated, saving about 6,800 litres of heating oil per day.
Bad Blumau is best known for the Rognder Bad Blumau thermal baths, which were designed by the famous Austrian painter and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. An area of approx. 12 ha in the immediate vicinity of the Lainsitz in the urban area of the municipality of Gmünd has been grazed by water buffaloes since June 2018, thus sustainably increasing the nature conservation quality of the river landscape. The regional value creation through the longer retention of visitors in the city/region is to be increased in cooperation with inns (buffalo hosts) and the marketing of corresponding buffalo products.
